Pharmacy School Exchange Program

In 2020, students from the University of Nairobi School of Pharmacy visited KU School of Pharmacy to participate in learning activities and internships at Lawrence Memorial Hospital - Hospital Pharmacy.

The exchange students worked with members of KU School of Pharmacy faculty and administration to gain experiences in Lawrence and in Wichita.

Activities included:

  • Visiting health systems in Kansas
  • Participation in pharmaceutical care reviews of patients
  • Observation of outpatient pharmacies and clinics
  • Visiting a specialty pharmacy
  • Visiting the University of Kansas Lawrence campus 
  • Attending a regional pharmacy conference
